Slate Display streams your Windows PC display to iPad over the local network or USB-C. Wi-Fi pairing requires code confirmation on both devices; screen and touch data are encrypted in transit. Device identifiers and pairing keys are stored on your devices for reconnection. You can forget saved PCs in Connection help on iPad. All data travels locally between your two devices only — it is never sent to our servers or any third-party server. The app functions entirely offline and no streaming data leaves your local connection.
Subscriptions are purchased exclusively through Apple App Store in-app purchase (IAP). We never receive or store your card number, billing address, Apple ID, or any payment-related personal information. For details on how Apple handles payment data, see the Apple Privacy Policy.
Website hosting and network providers may process access information for operation and security, separately from Slate app data. Cloudflare Web Analytics is currently injected into the live site. See Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.
When enabled, Slate's separate Umami behavior analytics records pageviews, visibility of pricing and compatibility headings, clicks toward the Windows download and App Store, FAQ opens, support links, and explanations a visitor starts manually. A click does not prove a download, installation, or purchase. We send page paths, page language and allowlisted campaign values, not arbitrary search terms, link contents, email addresses, pairing codes or screen content as event properties.
Umami uses no cookies, but its server uses the request IP address and browser information to estimate sessions and approximate location. We do not assign a personal ID or link devices. See Umami's metric definitions. Cloudflare and Umami counts are separate.
This preference excludes this browser from Slate's Umami behavior analytics. It does not change separate Cloudflare Web Analytics or hosting/security logs. A browser DNT or GPC signal also prevents Umami from loading.
Without JavaScript, Umami behavior analytics does not run on this page.
Slate Display is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children under 13. If you are under 13, please do not use this service.
For questions or requests to access, correct, delete or restrict information relating to the apps, website analytics, or hosting and network records, contact us below. Retention and processing arrangements depend on the actual provider settings and applicable law.
